Moving lift

Moving lift in The Hague

The Hague is full of walk-up flats and townhouses with stairwells a sofa simply will not pass through. In that case the household leaves through the window or the balcony, on our moving lift, with an operator who works it.

When a lift is needed

With a winding or steep staircase, a walk-up block without a lift, a building lift that is too small, or with items that will never pass through the stairwell because of their size: wardrobes, sofas, a piano. We assess this beforehand, so it is no surprise on the day.

With our own operator

The lift does not arrive on its own: one of our people works it and knows how to secure a load. That is the difference between renting a lift and having a lift work for you.

Permit and parking space

A lift usually needs a piece of the street. Where the council requires an exemption or a parking ban for that, we arrange it. You do not have to chase it yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Moving lift in The Hague: questions we often get

For the usual upper-floor homes and walk-up blocks in The Hague this is not an issue. Tell us which floor you live on in your request and we will confirm it in advance.

We deploy the lift on moves we carry out ourselves, operator included. For a single item such as a piano that is possible too.

In too much wind we do not work with the lift; that is a safety limit, not a choice. We then discuss the alternative or another day with you.
